MARCEL is for the Belgium artist Marcel Broodthaers. In 1968, he named himself «curator of the Museum of Modern Art Department of Eagles» that he created. He proposes environments, kinds of ready-made in reference to writers and poets. He develops the contradictory relation between the language and the image. Eggshells and mussels are recurrent figures in his artwork. To make MARCEL we ate mussels and french fries in family
